My daughter and her fiance chose the original design as they thought it would be simple to do ( royal icing! lots of intricate pattern!) not realising how skilled and intricate it actually was. i really do not enjoy doing royal icing, so suggested some slight alteration, so it was still intricate, but no piping required (yay!!!) What advice would you give someone starting this project? Leave yourself lots of time to complete. It took a long time.
