I have to tell you - this was a one that I didn't fuss up....yay! Kept it simple, I should do that me often! :o) What advice would you give someone starting this project? If you are working with modeling chocolate and sculpting something with a lot of detail, keep a cold drink close by to periodically hold in your hands to cool down. I had a rough time keeping her face from smooshing due to my body heat, and just by chance I realized that when I stopped to pick up my drink-it cooled down my hand and kept the chocolate from melting down. Just make sure to keep a towel to dry your hands. Also, when you need to attach the pieces together, I found that using a measuring cup of hot water close by was good. I use a pairing knife (sitting in the water to stay warm) You can hold it to the chocolate and then press the pieces together. I use the pairing knife because it has a great flat, narrow tip to press down the edges of where the two pieces meet.
