Baptism

Share a little about the materials, processes, and techniques used to create this cake Fondant, edible icing sheets for the photos, piping gel, food grade dusting powders What are you most proud of? With the help of the edible pictures the towel seems to have passed this challenge of looking like itself, a towel. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Carve the underlying cake of the towel to resemble the basic shape of the finished towel then curl and roll and fold the fondant in a similar fashion as one would a towel; fondant, before it hardens will want to flatten to whatever shape it is covering. I used a piping tip to put a texture on the towel to help create it's effect. To help with the towel effect I heated up some piping gel to help create the water droplets.
