What are you most proud of? The ruffles! Boy were they time consuming and rather difficult. But once I got the hang of it things went smoothly. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Know in advance that this is going to take longer than expected. As my hand warmed the icing the ruffles weren't holding their shape, so I had to stop and put the bag in the refrigerator for a few minutes. In hind sight, it would have been useful to have multiple bags of icing. Also, do not try freezing the icing to get it to chill faster, this caused the color to "ooze" out of the bag, and I ended up needed to scrape some of the icing off from where the color was running down the side of the cake.
