That the sugarveil lace border turned out how I pictured it in my head. It really looks like basinet lace! What advice would you give someone starting this project? I used basic fondant and piping techniques.. The sugarveil was the hardest to work with. I made a lot of extra to account for tearing. It started to dry and get brittle quickly, so I had to work fast. Once it was in place I didn't mind the drying. Ideally it stays soft, but that would be in a perfectly controlled enviroment. I rated it closer to difficult only because of the sugarveil. I had worked with it several times just playing around and getting used to it. This was the first time I used it on a project.
