1920s Birthday cake

Share a little about the materials, processes, and techniques used to create this cake Fondant, luster dust, molds. What are you most proud of? I'm pretty proud of the whole thing. The cake is a little sloppy truth be told. I'm sure part of that is inexperience. I think the temperature had something to do with it also. It was a warm summer day and I don't have air conditioning. The fondant was really soft. That made the draping droop a little extra and I couldn't use the mold for the trim. I was planning on using a different mold for the jewels but this was the only mold I could get to sort of come out. I ended up rolling the pearls by hand. It was a lot of work, but it looks pretty much the way I wanted and I think it suited the party perfectly. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Reserve a large block of time. This took hours and it was only two tiers.
