Our Home - Folk Art~Fiber Art Project

What are you most proud of? I love the details of the fiber swirls and beading. This was the first time that I used the machine to stitch the fibers. They were so tiny (I did it!) I also like the details of the tiny leaves in the tree. It is a bit tricky cutting the tree and branches as one continuous shape. What advice would you give someone starting this project? If you feel uncomfortable starting your design from scratch right off the bat (using your fabric)- do a few practice cuts using paper first. Once you feel comfortable, start cutting your fabric pieces. It is a bit tricky cutting the tree and branches as one continuous shape. I would cut a piece and then step back to see which areas needed more-step back to check for balance.
