Little Felt Sheep

Project Description

What was your source for this sewing project? Online Photo or Website Name of website or photo Felt Zebra Link to website or photo nuno-runo.blogspot.com/2010/04/zebra.html What are you most proud of? I'm glad I was able to figure out how to do this without paying for a pattern - luckily this wonderful lady Runo has a website with a bunch of free patterns for various little animals - so I was able to use her zebra pattern with only a little modification. Then I just winged it on the crochet part. Maybe one day I'll make a tutorial rather than just explain what I did, but it was one of those experiment-as-you-go projects so I don't have a good system for everything yet. I'd like to experiment with making the fleece out of other stuff - sherpa material or whatever else I can find. Overall I'm very pleased with my little sheep! What advice would you give someone starting this project? Whew. Well, I would start with the zebra. If you're not comfortable with crochet, I recommend not trying that and maybe do something else for the fleece part. It's a little hard for me to find real wool felt here, but sometime I'd like to try to try using that instead of the acrylic.
