Angry Birds Plushies

Project Description

What was your source for this sewing project? Online Photo or Website Name of website or photo Angry Birds Link to website or photo http://obsessivelystitching.blogspot.com/2010/12/angry-birds-plush.html What advice would you give someone starting this project? PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT MY PATTERN, IT BELONGS TO OBSESSIVELY STITCHING WHOM POSTED IT FOR PEOPLE TO USE FOR PERSONAL USE ONLY. I followed her tutorial and pattern to make the birds above. Pattern link: http://obsessivelystitching.blogspot.com/2010/12/angry-birds-plush.html These are easy to make but I suggest avoiding making them in felt. I started with felt because I didn't have fleece but they fray and bead quickly. They also collect hair and dust easily which is annoying. Use fleece! Much higher quality and they will last a lot longer. Plus, fleece is softer.

What you will need

  • I started making them with felt but switched to fleece.

Q&A with Boosie

Alitabonita1 asked:
Hi, congratulation on this patterns. My son is also obsessed with angry birds. Do you sell the patterns because I would like to make them for him. Thanks
Boosie answered:
You can find the patterns here: http://obsessivelystitching.blogspot.com/2010/12/angry-birds-plush.html I added it but for some reason it didn't save.
Beckskosh asked:
Adorable and thanks for the pattern!
Boosie answered:
I did not come up with this pattern. This was designed by Obsessively Stitching. I merely used her pattern to make the plushies shown above. It's a fantastic tutorial. My daughter keeps begging me to make more.
Annette-GeGe asked:
Love this...Just one question. How do I download the free pattern?
Boosie answered:
If you hover your mouse over the the green text in the red area on that page and the black text (also in the red text area) you will notice links. (3rd paragraph on the blog posting)

Thank you for sharing. Can I ask if it would be OK to put these, once made, onto my horse website for donations? I rescue horses & trying to raise cash for a field shelter for winter & think these would make a great gift. There is no problem is you do not want me to. I am going to make my nephew one :) Thank you again.
Boosie answered:
This is not my pattern. You would have to ask the person at the website for the tutorial.
