Star Rag/Chenille quilt

What are you most proud of? This one came out very square. What advice would you give someone starting this project? For the chenille part I used freezer paper which I ironed onto the flannel (shiny side down). I then stitched, with a very small stitch length, the 1/2 inch diagonal lines. I found this method to work very well and it kept the chenille squares very square. I used the same freezer paper method for the stars. I would also suggest cleaning the lint out of your machine a few times during this project. Flannel makes a lot of lint in your machine as well as in the dryer.
