Project

Robins Wallhangin

What are you most proud of? After I had made and sewn most of the blocks together, I noticed the quilt becoming boring. While purple and orange have a good contrast between them, I had chosen mid tones for all 4 fabrics and I knew I needed to add some white to brighten it up so I added the "L" shape in a purple and white print that brought it to life. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Jump right in. Its so easy and quite freeing. The color combinations are limitless and as you see by my example, it is also quite adaptable.
