Randomly Crossed - My First Quilt

Project Description

What are you most proud of? Don't worry about your mistakes. That's what makes it unique. Perfectionism is for the experienced quilters. What advice would you give someone starting this project? It was for the baby's baptism and I had never quilted before so I wanted something easy and the crosses fit the bill.

What you will need

  • I made the baby bedding for a friends first baby and used the scraps to make this quilt.

Q&A with Kwsews

pamgranny asked:
Nice work and congrats on finishing. That is most of the battle. As for perfection.....it will never happen.
Kwsews answered:
Thanks for looking! It was fun figuring it out!
Connie Remetch asked:
Very nicely designed & a great idea. Quilting has been great for my perfectionism. In the best sense of this phrase, " good enough" is truly good enough. Finishing has been my watchword & has made quilting very satisfying.
Kwsews answered:
Thanks for the nice comments. The baby's mama loved it!
Wendy Butler Berns asked:
what a lovely soft pallet of colors you choose.. and a great size to practice your MQ!!
Kwsews answered:
Thanks for the great lessons. It made it less overwhelming knowing I could watch the lessons over and over.
