Project Description

What are you most proud of? Hmmm, that I didn't mess up? I tried to be very tidy and accurate...and I pressed every single seam open! What advice would you give someone starting this project? Follow the instructions - Elizabeth is teaching it this way for a reason - she's figured it all out! I think it looks very cool and can't wait to quilt it.

What you will need

  • Various shades of grey (not 50!) and some yellow cotton fabric.

Q&A with a1angiem

Scheri Manson asked:
Very nice. The colors and blocks placement create great movement. Please post again when you have finished quilting
a1angiem answered:
Thank you, Scheri! I will definitely post after I quilt it - just waiting for the backing fabric to arrive!
mimis quilts asked:
very nice-I am working on yellow and grey now-a nice combination.
a1angiem answered:
Thanks! I love the colour combo too!
QuiltDude asked:
This looks way, way, WAY cool. Love how you used the Shimmering Frost collection. And you used just enough yellow to give it a pop of color yet still complements the blacks and grays. Can I have this one? LOL LOL Definitely post again once you have it quilted, Ms. Angie! I mean, please, pretty please post when it's completed.
a1angiem answered:
ha!ha! I had to get a bit of that shimmering frost in there! Thanks for the encouragement, QuiltDude ;) I think this turned out to be a great quilt for a guy...
abanabana asked:
It looks so fabulous with 36 blocks!
a1angiem answered:
Thanks! It's actually 35 blocks (5x7) because I don't like square quilts - not enough coverage for this sturdy girl!
alida1031 asked:

a1angiem answered:
