and calico backing. stitched in the ditch around the star centre and greens. then meandering stitch from point to point in the centre with green cotton. Meandering stitch between star and border. quilted the inverted star motif in the corners. also in green

Thanks Patricia, truthfully....I sewed the first one perfect, then got a bit (smartypants) then did the next one ripped it out, got it right, next one perfect, etc all the way through, so doesnt pay to be too smarty pants with this one, just take your time to get your points in the right place. It was a challenge worth doing though.
