July BOM 2013

What are you most proud of? I was able to handle the bias edges without distorting them! What advice would you give someone starting this project? Try to pick fabrics that vary in value - a light, a medium, and a dark. When my fabrics were laying next to each other prior to being cut, it appeared that there was more contrast between my light and my medium fabrics than there actually is. Once sewn into the block, my light and medium fabrics blended together much more than I would like. ;(
