Project

BOM Quilt #1

Project Description

What are you most proud of? I made this!!!! I am making my blocks in to 2 smaller lap sized quilts... 1 down, 1 to go. I can't do any more on this one until #2 top is pieced so I can see what fabric is left over for backings. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Go for it!

What you will need

  • 100% cotton - sashings are plain dark purple and border fabric is a splotchy mid purple with blue and black

Wow, this is really lovely! Like the way you chose to put your blocks on point and sash them with the dark purple........really makes them 'pop'. Great color combo :)

Why thank you! I'm secretly thrilled with this one... still can't quite believe I actually made this LOL!

Thanks! Hate to disappoint but I don't think #2 is going to compete with this one... but we'll see ;-)

Who would of thunk, you did. I like the way you think. The placement of these on point changes the look of the blocks, it's so creative. Love it.
