Q&A with Regina82511

Meghan3 asked:
Very pretty! I really like your grey background fabric.
Regina82511 answered:
Thank you! There are so many other colors that I felt it had to be tamed and muted in some way.
South of France asked:
Lovely quilt, Regina. I am at about at the same point you are with mine, but I am hesitating since I want to machine quilt it, but I would prefer to quilt the smaller sections rather than the whole quilt once it is put together. I am not sure how attractive it will be to have an additional "joining" border around each of these assymetrical blocks. How are you planning to proceed?
Regina82511 answered:
Just saw your message. Thank you for the comment. I was thing about QAYG, quilting in sections. Sandwich the front, batting and batting quilting the sections. Have you noticed that I have five sections? Quilting each one then sewing them together. If you have a better idea let me know. Trying to sew every thing together and then quilting is not my cup of tea. I will the do the same thing with the borders, sandwich and then quilt.
