My granddaughter inspired me to make this quilt. Her favorite thing to do is blowing bubbles. If I was washing dishes in the sink, she would ask if she could play with the bubbles. It caused me to reflect on other things in her life that are special to her. She loves to ride her pony and what little girl doesn't love candy! She loves to play dress up and pretend she is a ballerina or fairy. She loves to play with her favorite dolls. When she was a little baby I would rock her as I sang the song My Favorite Things which also inspired this cute wall hanging. It measures 50" x 50". There are 5 large bubbles that depict her favorite things. I used fusible web to trace the patterns. I chose bright colorful fabrics in colors she loves. Make sure you have a color cartridge in your printer before downloading as I have included a fabric chart with suggestions on fabric colors and yardage amount. Thanks for taking a peek at my shop, KinderGarden Designs. I love making quilts, but my real passion is designing them. Designing unique patterns that would appeal to the imagination of a child inspires me. I was in education for 17 years with a degree in early childhood education. I taught kindergarten for 10 of those years, hence the name KinderGarden Designs. I have a beautiful little granddaughter Sydney, who has inspired many of the quilts I've designed. I would love to see a picture of your quilt when your project is complete. It's fun to see the fabric patterns and colors that make the quilt uniquely yours. Vikki
