My 5 grand kids live thousands miles away. So. I am embellishment light. ;o). Here is the card I sent to one. She's a senior in High school and the one I have the least contact with. I think my major "embellishments" are color and contrast. I did a yellow watercolor wash for the background. Then flicked orange, yellow, red and green spots all over the yellow wash. Then just flicked a few black spots. I left most of the spots intact, but blurred a few with my finger tip, and let it dry. Then I cut out the parts for the flower. there are three different sizes of petals which are curled and layered then glued on on top of another. For the inside of the card, I made the same background with watercolor, but blurred the spots and dragged them. Added a free dollar store sparkly things, and cut out the sentiment.
