Project

Belle Plume Cardi

What are you most proud of? I was proud of finishing in just a week's time. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Use interchangeable needles as suggested, keep your tension consistent; when patterning, count stitches on the return rows. I've knit lace before and have even done some sweaters, but always used someone else's stitch count and directions. This course lets you understand where the numbers are coming from so you can create your own design that will fit your measurements. Enjoy the process!

Q&A with Carolyn_R

Tribble asked:
Beautiful.... it's tempting me to try it!
Carolyn_R answered:
You should, it's a really nice way to understand raglan construction so you can make more with just about any yarn you have.
GelzinisJudy asked:
Your cardigan made me buy the class! It's really gorgeous.
Carolyn_R answered:
The great thing is learning how to create a pattern for your size, using your measurements instead of needing to use someone elses. Now I can make a sweater that really fits me and they really do work up quickly.
