This amazing silk, mohair, and lamb's wool sweater is designed with impressionist warmth in the style of Monet's water lilies paintings in Giverny, France. It is knit with a very organic look, in one piece. The sweater has a square neckline and 3/4 length, kimono style sleeves. I created this pattern for my daughter to keep her happy on chilly spring mornings. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY You will need to know how to cast on stitches, knit stitches, purl stitches, knit two stitches together, cast off stitches, pick up and knit stitches, darn in ends of the finished work, and embroider a knit piece. GAUGE A 10 cm (4 inch) square, knit in stockinette stitch is 17 stitches and 21 rows. SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS The sweater is super silky soft and stretchy, and will fit a toddler from about age 2 - 4 years.
