Pattern Details

Skill Level: Intermediate This bias shawl begins with just 7 sts and expands to a beautiful crescent/triangle shape through increases and decreases. This scarf is great for someone who likes to use the entire ball of yarn because you can just keep going until you run out. Using self striping yarn (or solid if you prefer), this scarf makes a great gift for anyone (especially yourself). The pattern uses only the knit stitch with increases and decreases for shaping. If you are comfortable with increasing and decreasing this pattern will be easy for you. Recommended Yarn Approx. 475 yards of medium worsted weight yarn Recommended Needle US 10 [6mm] Finished Measurements Approx. approx. 18” depth x 72” wingspan Pattern Info The pattern is in .pdf form, you will need Adobe Reader to open and print it. Just a quick reminder, this is my original design and this pattern is not to be copied and reproduced for monetary purposes, I'd love if you made as many as you liked for yourself or to give as gifts, or even sell for profit (see my shop policies for more info on this), but please do not make copies of the pattern. Thanks!

From the time I learned from my great-grandmother until now — over 25 years. Actual time crocheting (my 20s were a blur of school, work and debt, having a stash was not an option)– probably about 15. How’d you start designing? I got pregnant. I picked up the hook to make some stuff. I realized I liked designing rather than following a pattern, now I’ve been doing it over 6 years. Favorite yarn? Self striping in beautiful vibrant colors Where ya from? I spent the better part of my life in Southern California, and while I miss Disneyland and the predictable weather, I find that moving around from place to place a more interesting adventure. Currently I’m living with my family in the Bay Area but that will probably soon change as my husband’s military orders do. Update: I’m not back in Southern California for at least the next year. We’ll see where the Navy takes us next.
