A knitter wrote to me, proclaiming that after she knit one of my Fair Isle / Norwegian patterns that featured a simple, symmetrical motif, without any shaping, she was officially "nuts" about stranded knitting and hoped I'd come up with a "next step" hat design. I answered her request with this Macadamia Hat, which has a unique motif, to advance her chart-reading skills a bit, yet simple shaping, separate from the chart work, to keep things easy. I hope you enjoy it!
