Steampunk Romance Bib Necklace

Project Description

Who is this project for? Women What are you most proud of? I used so many techniques in this necklace! The shell is one I personally picked up off the beach at Panama City Beach, FL. I originally wanted a HANGING shell charm, but after breaking 3 shells (and getting VERY frustrated) I decided to glue a small shell to a small charm. I love that it's adjustable from 18" to 20". I love that I used some stash items I've had for YEARS (fibers). I love the copper connector that I formed and hammered by hand. I love the copper headpins that I made to encompass the ends of the fibers on each end. What advice would you give someone starting this project? All of the brads (metallic, key, arrow) came from the Scrapbooking section. I used side cutters to remove the ends. They were just the right size!
