This is the next square in my year long CAL series on my group, Anastacia Knits Designs. I designed this simple 12" square while waiting for Nemo Blizzard to hit us & finalized the square design while keeping our breaths held that we wouldn't lose our power while we watched Nemo dump three feet of snow on us. You will need approximately 50 grams of yarn & a size H (5.0 mm) crochet hook in various scraps of worsted weight yarn. It is written for one size only, 12". I used Red Heart Super Saver in various colors for the samples in the square. Want to try before you buy? Check out lots of free patterns on my blog, Thank you to marjos, pandastamper, Tajmacaw, debspugs, honeystalks,& laurie2011 for testing. Feel free to make as many of these as you like for local craft fairs/auctions/raffles/bazaars, but please do not sell finished items online without emailing me first. My name is Anastacia, and I am the scrap yarn/one skein queen. I buy my yarn mainly at yard sales/thrift stores, so I got used to making do with what I could find. So most of my patterns are designed to use up the odd skeins or leftovers in your life, and are geared towards beginner crocheters or those who just want a fast, easy, but still pretty item. I'm a 30 something adult living in MA. I’m married, have a wonderful cat named Wedgie, & I work full time. I also teach knitting & crocheting at my local Michael's & squeeze in designing as many hours as I can a week. I do love to hear from everyone, but please remember that I am busy, just like you, & will reply as soon as I can. All of my patterns use USA terms & abbreviations. I try to layout my patterns as simply as possible to save money for people printing at home. My patterns are as short as possible, usually with only one photo on the first page, which you can easily skip printing to save ink. .
