These simple and cute fingerless gloves work up in just a few short hours and make a great last minute gift! They're a perfect way to keep hands and wrists warm during the chilly months. They are worked in one piece and embellished with a simple wrist belt with buttons at either end for a little added style. All patterns are written in standard American terms. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY Stitches used include - ch, sl st, hdc GAUGE 5 rows & 5 sts = 1" SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS one size fits all - ladies - or you may customize. SUGGESTED YARN 150 yards of DK weight

Supplies Needed

  • Crocheted using DK or light worsted weight yarn and crochet hook size f (3.75 mm). Sample pair were made using a DK weight baby alpaca which is soft, warm and luxurious.
  • You'll also need 4 approx. 1/2" buttons and needle and thread.

I first held a crochet hook at age 3. My mom and elder sister tried to teach my 5 year old sister how to crochet, but told me I was too little. I told them I COULD do it! And I did. :) The rest is history. I've been crocheting now for about 35 years. I'm originally from Wisconsin, but now live with my husband and 3 little girls (Holland, Madison & Adelaide) near Auckland, New Zealand. My little girls model most of my designs.
