Bees are the inventors of honey. Their fuzzy bodies, calm disposition and love of flowers has made them infinitely more popular than their aggressive cousin the wasp - famous for being the inventors of mustard. Although hornets claim to have invented marmalade, this is heavily disputed in the preservative industry and as such they are often overlooked. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY single crochet, chain stitch SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS 3" in a sitting position

Supplies Needed

  • DK weight yarn in colours of your choice, safety eyes (two small), polyfibre stuffing, 4mm crochet hook, large-eye needle
  • This is a quick and small toy which requires little time

Hello, I'm Maffers. I've always loved soft toys and this continued beyond childhood. I'd find myself in antiques fairs snooping around for unusual toys to take home, with Friedrich Nietzsche (an angry lamb) and Quentin Breadmunch (an erudite duck) being my most prized finds. I crochet, by and large, to bring imagined toys into existence. I share some of my creations with close friends but I tend to form a steadfast bond with my toys as soon as they're finished and as such I generally can't bring myself to part with them.
