Mother's Day Cake

Share a little about the materials, processes, and techniques used to create this cake Buttercream ruffle layer is chocolate filled with eggless chocolate chip cookie dough. Top is white filled with buttercream. Used wax paper transfer method for yellow and black stripes. Yellow stripes and flower are modeling chocolate, black is chocolate MMF. What are you most proud of? Finally figuring out the buttercream ruffle technique, though I still don't have it mastered! What advice would you give someone starting this project? Have fun with the colors and work with what you have. I had the chocolate and fondant from other projects which is how I arrived at this color scheme.
