Share a little about the materials, processes, and techniques used to create this cake Rich fruit cake, spreadable icing, icing nozzles, fresh flowers, ribbon & fancy cord. What are you most proud of? The finished effect... it really suited the occasion. What advice would you give someone starting this project? The fruit cake was marzipaned & then soft icing was applied & smoothed over the entire surface with a warm knife, An edging pattern was piped, the ribbon & cord applied & the flower arrangement placed on the fop. The silver stand was then decorated with the extra flowers & ferns.
