What You Need
Another secret to this cowl’s speed? Bulky yarn. Use either two strands of worsted weight yarn held together or a single strand of bulky or super bulky weight yarn. We used two strands of worsted-weight yarn held together. The strands are different colors, giving the cowl a fancy marbled effect.
Finished Size
This is an infinity crochet scarf designed to be worn as one loop (cowl-style). It measures 9″ across and 42″ long. Each section (one in hdc and one in dc) measures 22″ long.
If you want a longer infinity cowl that you can loop around your neck multiple times, add additional rows to each section accordingly, matching the length of one side to the length of the other (warning: if you go this route, you may want an extra skein or two of yarn).
Instructions
Hold one strand of each color yarn together throughout entire project.
Chain 22.
Row 1: Hdc in second stitch from hook and each stitch across.
Rows 2 – 36: Ch 2 to turn, hdc in each st across
Rows 37 – 57: Ch 3 to turn, dc in each st across.
Fold so that the short sides are together and seam shut using slip stitch or your favorite joining method to create the infinity scarf. Fasten off and weave in ends. That’s it!
