Spectrum Mittens

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • knit

  • knitting in the round

Pattern Description:

These mittens are playful and full of color. The pattern includes two sizes, achieved by different needle sizes, and two different charts, one for knitting with many colors to create a multicolored effect and one using a color changing yarn against a solid color that does all the work for you with minimal ends to weave in.

Spectrum is a great basic stranded mitten pattern with short color repeats to create a fun and warm mitten. Knit from the bottom up in the round, these mittens have a corrugated rib cuff a sore thumb so that both mittens are knit the same, and are grafted together at the top.
