Dorene Vandermeer

Dorene Vandermeer became a bridal milliner out of necessity; in 1989, when she couldn't find the right veil for her own wedding, she sat down and made it herself. Friends and family asked her to create custom designs, and in 2004, Unveiled Bridal Designs was born. Dorene's signature designs have appeared in the pages of magazines, on blogs including The Sassy Bride and 100 Layer Cake and, most importantly, on brides around the world. Dorene lives in Portland, Ore., with her husband (yes, the guy she married in 1989) and teenaged triplets.
