Class Overview

With fashion designer Dyanne Marte as your guide, learn how to sew a wrap dress that you can't wait to wear. Choose the perfect knit fabrics, needles, threads and stitches to combine with the Butterick pattern included with your class. Personalize your pattern and add fullness for a design with more flare, or remove fullness for a more form-fitting look. Learn the basics and beyond of sewing knits with confidence as you construct your dress. Then add ruched details to the bodice for an extra touch of elegance. Get the tips you need to succeed at sewing set-in sleeves, a collar, a sash and finishing details. Transform drapey knit fabric into a figure-flattering dress so fashion-forward that friends will wonder where you purchased it.
