Then, get started as you make your first accessory, a bias-cut scarf. Angela offers tips for finding the bias, cutting fabric and selecting the perfect thread. Gather dozens of troubleshooting tips for setting up your machine and what to do when your rolled hem falls off your scarf. Finally, add a bit of whimsy as you sew a lettuce edge on silk!

Infinity Scarf & Beyond (37:12)
Expand your scarf-making skills as you learn to serge a trendy infinity scarf. See how to work with breezy and delicate silks or even one-sided fabrics, like burnout silk velvet! Learn the secret to incorporating the infinity scarf’s signature twist. Want to incorporate more than one fabric into your designs? No problem! Angela shows you how to piece together fabric with either hidden or exposed seams!

Pillows With Pintucking & Gathers (43:07)
Delve into the world of decorative pillows as you learn to use your serger to make amazing textured fabric with luxury textiles such as silk dupioni and taffeta. First, learn how to make your own custom pillow template and then pick up expert tips for marking and sewing the pintucks you’ll add to your pillow fronts. Use the fabric you made in Lesson 3 to add gathered or pintucked details to your purses. How will I receive my DVD class?
Your class DVD will be shipped in the mail using the address you provide at checkout. You will not have streaming access to this class in your Craftsy Account unless you purchase(d) it separately. Will the companion materials come with my DVD class?
Any downloadable class PDF materials are not included on the DVD, so you will not have access to those materials. While the video instruction on your DVD is complete, you must have streaming access to download the PDF materials associated with the class. Do I have to purchase a Craftsy Membership to get my class?
