Meet your instructor George Geary and learn to love your food processor! George will review all the parts to your processor, how to correctly use each piece and demonstrate how to put it together. Then, learn about different sizes and styles of processors.
Chopping With the Metal Blade (12:20)
Get started using your processor with the metal blade to make delicious dishes! Start with a spicy gazpacho soup and then move on to a tasty cobb salad and homemade dressing. Then, make streusel topping fast. Finally, learn how to perfectly grind beef for thick, fresh burgers.
Puréeing With the Metal Blade (19:14)
Learn how to purée using the metal blade! George will teach you the chemistry behind emulsions while making a delicious homemade mayonnaise, herb aioli and hummus. Then, cream with the metal blade to make a delectable cream cheese frosting. Finally, purée nut butters and gorgonzola-onion butter.
Slicing Disk (10:09)
Use the slicing disk to make thick and creamy potato au gratin, a side dish anyone would love! Then fry homemade, and healthy, potato chips or sweet potato chips with George’s simple recipe. Finally, make caramelized onions quickly, easily and without tears using your processor and a slow cooker.
Shredding Disk (12:25)
The shredding disc can be used for more than shredded cheese! Learn the recipe to make a tasty pesto coleslaw to accompany any meal. You’ll also learn how to make delicious applesauce in minutes! Finally, make carrot cake to pair with homemade cream cheese frosting.
Dough Blade (15:16)
You can even make dough in your processor! George demonstrates how to make a delicious cottage herb bread, without pulling out your bulky stand mixer. Then, learn how to make dough for a sweet almond tart. You’ll also make homemade almond tart filling and top the dessert with fresh peaches.
Converting Recipes (10:37)
Convert traditional recipes into fast food processor recipes with George’s help! You’ll begin with recreating meatloaf in the food processor. Then, make a soft European butter cookie with a pecan twist and a tasty peanut butter cookie without washing the bowl! Finally, make rich fudge brownies.

Do your DVDs work on international players?

What is your return policy?
We want to be sure you’re satisfied. If you have trouble playing your DVD, if the content is not correctly presented on the DVD, or you are dissatisfied with the content of your class, we will work with you. Contact Craftsy Customer Service via email or phone. Upon your request, and upon your return of the DVD to us, we will refund your purchase price or send you another DVD to replace a damaged or incorrect DVD, whichever is your preference.
