Your Instructors

Rick Allred
Rick Allred studied photojournalism at New Mexico State University, and in 1996 he helped to launch the digital program at Santa Fe Photographic Workshops in New Mexico. Rick spent five years as the head of the photography department at the Hui No’eau Visual Arts Center on the island of Maui, Hawaii, before returning to Santa Fe to continue teaching. Today, he serves as head of the digital lab at Santa Fe Photographic Workshops, teaching Adobe Lightroom®, Adobe Photoshop® and digital photography classes, and now, here on Craftsy!

Kirk Tuck
Commercial photographer Kirk Tuck has photographed many extraordinary people, from President Bill Clinton to Academy Award winner Renée Zellweger. He’s also authored several books, including Photographic Lighting Equipment: A Comprehensive Guide for Digital Photographers, Minimalist Lighting: Professional Techniques for Location Photography, and Commercial Photography Handbook: Business Techniques for Professional Digital Photographers. A frequent lecturer and workshop instructor, Tuck resides in Austin, TX.

Jack Davis
Jack Davis is an award-winning photographer, one of the world’s leading experts on Photoshop® and a renowned instructor. For more than 20 years, he’s pursued his passion for photography, building his career in the world of digital imagery. Today, he routinely teaches at conferences and workshops around the world, including a spot on the “Dream Team” at the Photoshop World Conferences. A popular author, Jack co-penned the must-have guide, The Photoshop Wow! Book, which has now sold more than 1 million copies. His incredible contributions also earned him a spot as one of the first inductees to the Photoshop Hall of Fame.

Neil Losin
Neil Losin has been fascinated by nature since he was eight years old, and has spent 20 years studying wildlife. He received his Ph.D. from UCLA in ecology and evolutionary biology, and has been photographing birds for more than a decade. Neil’s images have been published internationally and have won numerous awards.
