Introduction & Getting Started
Meet your instructor, Inkadinkado ambassador Joy Macdonell, and start stamping beyond the basics. You’ll learn a masking technique to turn a square stamp into a circle design. Then play with layers as you create depth with foregrounds and backgrounds. With these new techniques, you’ll create a gorgeous card as you learn tips for perfect stamp placement and methods for blending ink colors.
Embossed Resist Stamping
Add dimension to your stamps by learning how to heat-emboss! Joy explains how to use a resist technique to apply a medley of stamps to your design. You’ll create a beautiful nature card along the way that features an array of leaves.
Master the paring knife as you learn to easily core a jalapeño, tomato or cauliflower and zest an orange then learn how to cut down butternut squash and pineapple as you tackle a variety of fruits, vegetables and herbs.
Stamping Vellum & Acetate
Take your stamping skills to the next level by learning how to stamp on vellum and acetate. You’ll learn which inks work best on these unique materials. Then see how to incorporate these layers into your projects. Vellum adds depth to any project, while acetate’s clear quality creates a beautiful layered look.
Fussy Cutting & Layering
Make your cards pop with your own layered embellishments! Learn how to fussy-cut stamped and embossed images to personalize your work. Then add watercolors for more flair and create layered surfaces.
