Materials Needed

• Yarn: Rowan Pure Wool Superwash Worsted (100% superwash wool, 3.5 oz/100 g = 219 yds/200 m), one ball each of seven colors. Shown in Ivory 101, Granite 111, Moonstone 112, Olive 125, Mallard 144, Mustard 131, and Forest 126. Use more or fewer colors as desired, keeping in mind the contrast desired and the total amount of yarn needed.
• Needles: 16" circular needle US size 5 (3.75 mm) or size needed for gauge, 16" circular needle US size 8 (5 mm) or three sizes larger than size needed to obtain gauge, spare 16" or longer circular needle US size 5 (3.75 mm) or a size or two smaller for grafting
•  Other: Scissors, tape measure, yarn needle, stitch markers
• Gauge: 22 stitches and 28 rows = 4" (10 cm) in stockinette stitch using smaller needle
