Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Making a wire frame
  • Making a wrapped loop
  • Handling long pieces of wire
  • MATERIALS:3m (10ft) 0.4mm (26 gauge) soft round wire 60cm (24") of 0.8mm (20 gauge) round half-hard wire 20 3mm round metal beads 15 grams size 11 seed beads
  • TOOLS:Soft jaw pliers Round nose pliers Wire cutters Flat jaw pliers Permanent marker Ruler Pencil or dowel Hammer and anvil

Pattern Description:

It's difficult to think of a new shape for earrings but I think these are a little bit different from the usual dangling types.

They look spectacular on and are easy and quick to make. They lend themselves to many variations of colour and the ear wire forms an integral part of the earring.
