Adhering a pattern to fabric might be the trickiest part of embroidery. Learn a variety of methods for permanently and temporarily placing a pattern for embroidery. Jessica will also show you tips for working with light and dark fabrics alike.
You’re ready to get started stitching! This session will show you how to hoop your fabric successfully, separate floss easily and thread your needle quickly. Learn how to start any stitch successfully and how to end each stitch securely.
Learn the two basic stitches of embroidery: the running stitch and the back stitch. When not stitching, Jessica can be found walking her tiny dog, seeking out delicious tacos, and playing all sorts of games in Portland, Oregon.
