Annette Kennedy is a photographer, pattern maker, fiber artist, painter, traveler and teacher who combines all the things she loves in the medium of painted pictorial quilts. Although she has never had any formal art education, Annette has always loved to create. She learned to quilt as an adult, soon moving to original landscape and pictorial art quilts. As a military wife, she has lived in many places, using her camera, fabric and paint to capture the beauty she finds. Annette has exhibited at the International Quilt Association Show in Houston and a long list of regional and national shows. She lives in Longmont, Colo., with her husband Rick.
