Create three amazing projects perfect for showers, birthdays, groom’s cakes and more with renowned cake designer Kate Sullivan. Learn to use dowels, wire and floral tape for simple, reliable and customizable structures. Build the framework for the lighthearted Elephant cake topper, add modeling chocolate, sculpt your playful pachyderm, and bring your design to life with color and a gravity-defying balloon. Apply the same structure in a whole new way to create the Poker-Playing Dog cake, sure to bring a smile to any groom’s face. Then, use a variety of methods to create tasty modeling chocolate flowers: dainty daffodils, textured hydrangeas and impressive peonies. Plus, add a final touch of sweetness to your cake with a chirpy modeling chocolate bird. Use approachable techniques to bring inspired designs to the table!
