There’s so much to love about this class! We’ll be whipping up five recipes, and each one is made in one pot. We’ll make four main dishes and one dessert, and you’ll be left with one pan to clean after each one! Take note: these aren’t your average one-pan meals. The main dish recipes deliver protein, complex carbohydrates, and wholesome vegetables, so they’re considered complete meals. Sure, you can add bread or a salad to round things out (or to serve more people), but each one is a complete, nutritious dish. The dessert is one that’s often relegated to dining out, but it’s incredibly fun to make at home.

We start the class with One Pot Pasta Bolognese, an Italian dish featuring tender spaghetti in a rich and meaty tomato sauce. The pasta cooks directly in the sauce, so there’s no extra pot or colander to clean. Plus, the pasta absorbs the flavor of the sauce as it cooks (versus cooking in plain water), so it’s exceptionally tasty.

Next, we’ll create Lemony Chicken and Rice, a colorful, healthy meal that boasts moist chicken, vibrant vegetables, and fluffy rice – all cooked together with broth and parmesan cheese. A splash of lemon before serving makes all flavors come alive.

The third recipe in this class is Spanish Paella, a one-pot-meal that contains chicken, chorizo, calamari, mussels, and shrimp in a sauce of wine and saffron. The dish looks elegant and complicated, but it’s unbelievably easy.

We’ll switch to beef for the next main dish and whip up Italian Beef and Potatoes, a hearty dish of ground beef, tender golden potatoes, and fresh vegetables. The sauce for this dish is brimming with tomatoes and parmesan cheese, so each bite is satisfying and cozy. And I love working potatoes into one-dish meals.

We finish the class with Bananas Foster, a delightful, quick-and-easy dessert that delivers caramelized bananas, hints of dark rum, and a dollop of vanilla ice cream.

Each recipe in this class comes together quickly and makes it to the table in less than 45 minutes. Not just great for busy weeknights, these dishes are sophisticated enough for entertaining. And, at the end of cooking and serving, you’ll have one pan to deal with!
