Description

Instructor and pattern designer Courtenay Hughes will guide you through simple steps for fussy cutting diamonds, and creating a single-color Lone Star pillow top that makes a wonderful home decor piece or handmade gift. Once you’re comfortable with the basics, you’ll use strip sets to create a four-color Lone Star with amazing movement that lights up the room and shows off your skill. Next, learn to piece tiny points perfectly as you make baby Lone Stars that shine on accessories, decor and quilts. Plus, find out how to piece Lone Stars using a foundation, so there are no bias edges or individual diamonds to cut! Along the way, Courtenay will demystify inset seams, and show you how to select Lone Star and background fabrics for a glowing result.
