Whether it is a sewing machine foot, a marking tool, or a way to prepare your pieces for sewing, selecting the right tools will give you a better sewing experience as well as a more professional outcome.
In this session, we are going to look at all of our cutting tools in action! The leather rotary cutter, dressmaker’s shears, and the utility knife all have their uses for different types of cuts.
Take a look at two different ways to prepare leather for hand sewing, learn some more about needles and thread, and look at some different hand stitches you can use while sewing on embellishments
Learn the best ways to prepare our sewing machine for leather or vinyl success!
Make a whole project using the things you have learned. To get started you will need some lightweight vinyl, some scraps of quilting cotton or other decorative fabric, and a 7-inch zipper – as well as some inexpensive tissue paper.
