Brenda begins by showing us how to wind a hank of yarn into a ball. Next, she discusses how many squares we will be making as well as how to know which colors to use and in which order to use them. Brenda walks us through each round of the Circle-Square, showing us how to make each of the stitches, where to place them and gives us tips for memorizing the stitch pattern.
In this session Brenda shows us how to use one of her favorite crochet seams to attach all of the pieces together (no hand-sewing required!) She demonstrates her efficient system for arranging the pieces and seaming them together.
Brenda teaches us how to create a simple edging around the border of our blanket. Along the way, she shares some tips on how to securely weave in the ending yarn tails as we create this border.
In this session Brenda teaches us how to create the Upper section of each Bootie. She begins with the ribbed cuff, then moves through the rest of the foot, including the short-rows used for the toe shaping.
In this lesson, Brenda walks us through each step of creating the soles of these booties including attaching them to the Upper. Next Brenda shows us how to create the ties and how to weave them into the Ribbing. Brenda finishes this session by demonstrating how to block our pieces.
