Step-down piecing allows you to work in diagonal steps rather than in horizontal rows. These quilts can be scrappy or coordinated and done with plain squares or pieced blocks.
Take the hard work out of hand appliqué with Sarah's needleturn techniques, including easy ways to mark, make circles and create bias tape.
Continue with needleturn appliqué by applying your shapes to the quilt surface. Sarah shows you easy techniques for appliquéd curves and points.
