Linda Lee

Linda Lee has loved fabric for as long as she can remember, so it’s no surprise that she has spent her career working in fashion and interior design. She is the owner of The Sewing Workshop Pattern Collection, where adventurous sewers can find patterns for distinctive garments created with innovative techniques. She has written numerous sewing books and contributed articles to magazines including Threads, Sew News and Stitch. She has also been the sewing expert for segments on the HGTV programs “Today at Home” and “Our Home.”

Meg McElwee

Meg McElwee is the owner and designer of Sew Liberated, an indie pattern shop, as well as the author of the books Sew Liberated and Growing Up Sew Liberated.

Pam W. Howard

Pam Howard, owner of Pamela’s Closet, Inc., teaches intermediate to advanced clothing construction, specializing in precision sewing, tailoring and couture techniques. Pam has been sewing since she was 14 years old, originally taught by two neighbors in her hometown in Virginia. She is a member of the American Sewing Guild (Atlanta Chapter), and has taught at five national ASG conventions and at the Original Sewing and Quilt Expos in Atlanta, Kansas City, Chicago, Minneapolis and the Washington, D.C., area. In 2005, Pam launched her own sewing retreats, Tailoring Boot Camp, held at a bed-and-breakfast in Georgia. In addition to teaching, she tests patterns for the Threads magazine Pattern Review column and was a guest on DIY’s Sew Much More, hosted by Susan Khalje.

Pati Palmer & Melissa Watson

Pati Palmer is a pattern designer and sewing instructor with more than 37 years of experience. She has designed more than 200 patterns for The McCall Pattern Company, and she’s the author of 10 sewing books. Pati taught sewing seminars throughout North America and Australia for 15 years before establishing the Palmer/Pletsch International School of Sewing in Portland, Oregon. Melissa Watson is Pati’s daughter, so it’s no surprise that her love of fashion and sewing can be traced all the way back to childhood. Melissa designed a line of print fabrics for Springs Creative and co-designed the DIY Line for McCall’s. Soon after that, she began designing for the Palmer/Pletsch line at McCall’s creating patterns that appeal to the next generation of sewers.
