Floral Dot Cake: Part One (12:30)

Christina shows you how to use a pattern to trace the outline of your design in buttercream before transferring it to the cake. Prefer to draw freehand? No problem; you’ll learn how to do it on paper or directly on your cake!

Floral Dot Cake: Part Two (24:40)
It’s time to transfer your pattern to the cake. Don’t worry if it doesn’t look perfect; Christina will show you how to fill in lines and clean up your design. Now you’ll pipe the dots! Start with the borders and then work in the details, one flower — and one dot — at a time. You’ll love the modern and lush look of this technique as you add dramatic color. Palette Knife Painted Cake: Technique (22:22)

Valeri Valeriano and Christina Ong are the owners of Queen of Hearts Couture Cakes, a multi-award-winning cake company based in London. They are the authors of The Contemporary Buttercream Bible, and their cakes have been featured both in print and on TV. They have demonstrated at exhibitions in the U.K. including The National Wedding Show, The Cake International Show, The Cake & Bake Show, Squires Kitchen’s annual sugarcraft exhibition and more. Valeri and Christina teach classes in Europe, the U.S, Asia and on Craftsy.

How will I receive my DVD class?

Your class DVD will be shipped in the mail using the address you provide at checkout. You will not have streaming access to this class in your Craftsy Account unless you purchase(d) it separately. Do I have to purchase a Craftsy Membership to get my class?

Do your DVDs work on international players?
Yes, our DVDs should be compatible with any DVD player in use today. All our videos have been created with all current Region Codes (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8). If you have trouble viewing a DVD purchased from Craftsy.com, please contact Customer Service.

What is your return policy?
We want to be sure you’re satisfied. If you have trouble playing your DVD, if the content is not correctly presented on the DVD, or you are dissatisfied with the content of your class, we will work with you. Contact Craftsy Customer Service via email or phone. Upon your request, and upon your return of the DVD to us, we will refund your purchase price or send you another DVD to replace a damaged or incorrect DVD, whichever is your preference.
