Learn how to create this beautiful heirloom blanket and booties set for a beloved baby on the way! Suitable for those newer to crochet, as well as those looking for a fresh new take on the granny square, this class will lead you from start to finish through the entire process of creating this blanket and booties set. In this class, you will learn how to choose materials, how to crochet the Circle-Square motif, how to join the squares together using crocheted seams (no sewing!), and how to add a polished but simple edging. As a bonus, you will learn how to create an adorable pair of booties out of the leftovers from your blanket.
Included with this class is a pdf pattern download with photos and charts to assist you as you learn how to create these projects. You do not need to refer to the written pattern in order to make these projects, as you will be learning everything you need from the video, however it is a very helpful reference with complete written instructions, as well as charts, for those who prefer to work from them.
From choosing your materials to blocking your finished pieces, Brenda will guide you through each step of the way to make sure you are able to complete these heartfelt gifts for the little one in your life! Brenda shares many valuable tips and tricks to make your stitching easier, which can be applied to future projects as well. With more than 3 hours of quality video instruction, and complete patterns for both projects, you will be sure to create the baby blanket and booties set that will be treasured for years to come!
